Our Quality Control department consists of five team members who are committed to safely doing everything we do better than anyone else! In addition to performing all of the quality control testing for WQI, we also offer our services to other area companies.
We work not only with crushed and natural aggregates, but also with Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA), Portland Cement Concrete (PCC), recycled pavement materials, and soils testing. Our aggregate testing services include gradation and quality reports.
We have DOT certified aggregate technicians in both Iowa and Illinois. We also have the full suite of equipment necessary to prepare HMA mix designs and process HMA samples from paving projects. Wendling’s DOT certified technicians also provide plant inspection services to nearby asphalt and ready-mix plants.
